This update is a little late, since he came to live with us almost two weeks ago. Nikki just had to have a dog. I gave in, knowing that I’d have to be the one to let him out in the middle of the night. He’s actually really well behaved. You really can’t help but like the guy.
Friday and Saturday were way too hot, and I was working outside all day, both days. I’ve been using SPF 50 sunblock, so I’m getting a nice tan on my arms, face, and legs, but I didn’t have any scalp treatment. Forward to Saturday night, and the top of my head is badly sunburned. I got my hair cut and it became very obvious.
Also, last Friday, I got a huge sliver in my leg, which was stuck over an inch long into my calf muscle and I couldn’t get it with tweezers. Most of it came out today, which was also painful. Don’t get huge slivers.

We’re going to finally see the end of the torrential downpour. I work all day Saturday and Sunday, but I think I’m going to build a planter box in the back yard and plant some veggies. Hopefully it will turn out better this year than it did last.
Since getting my digital camera, I think I’ve shot more than I shot on film in the last 3 or 4 years. By the end of May, I will likely have surpassed my lifetime film count.
