Greetings from Blue River. Had to get out of the house today, so we threw the dog into the car and went upstream. We are thinking it might be fun to go white water rafting one of these weekends (when the McKenzie is warmer).
All of the kittens have been fixed and gone to their new homes. Tender is staying with us. He thinks I am his mother since I’ve been feeding him his entire life and I was the one he saw when he opened his eyes. He had not eaten solid foods until this week, when he decided to break down and inhale some ground turkey.
We took Leo to the dog park. He seemed to love it, but he was not all that active, and there were some really aggressive lab mixes there. I was told they sometimes have a “greyhounds only” day where he can socialize with some of his grey family. Summer is almost here.
I don’t get it. Why do we have to continually get the worst weather? It was nice for half a week, then it goes back to being lame.
Finals are almost over. I have 2 left and that’s it. 8 more weeks of school after finals. It feels good to be so close to being done. I have to take a Computer Science course. Gee, that should be hard. I don’t know if I can handle a 100 level CS course. I asked if I could just show them my resume and have the requisite removed, but no. I think they just want my money.
The graduation countdown is on. 57 days.
