Twil-Yech!

Twilight is simply the worst movie I can recall ever seeing. The only thing worse than the acting was the writing. I understand that it’s intended to appeal to prepubescant girls with unrequited love issues, but they could have at least put something in the movie to redeem it for all the guys who were dragged to it or forced to see it (as I was.)

Never again. Absolute trash. I’d rather watch Leo use the yard for 2 hours than ever watch that steaming pile ever again.

Ah-Choo! (mmm… Minty!)

I just sneezed while brushing my teeth. No matter how much you’re aiming for the sink, you will always get some on the faucet… and the mirror, and the mouthwash bottle and the…

Let’s Start the List

What Did Leo Eat?

In the last couple of months, Leo has eaten a few things that baffle the mind.

  • October: An entire bag of peanut butter taffy halloween candy. Wrappers and all.
  • December: Half a bag of 3 Musketeers bite size candies.
  • December: Several packs of Reeces Peanut Butter Cups.
  • January/February: Misc. Garbage, a multi-pack of Extra Strawberry Banana Chewing Gum.
  • March: A full pound of dried apricots.
  • March: A huge bag of dry brown rice.
  • March: 3 bars of Euphoria Chocolate.
  • April: This is the one that shocked me… An entire loaf of bread that he snatched off the counter.

I don’t know of any other dog who eats all these kinds of things. The amount of chocolate he has survived tells us one of two things. Either the chocolate is of far lower quality than advertised, or some dogs are invincible.

Troubleshooting the Car

So on the way home from the store, people kept flashing their headlights, and although I had mine on, I figured “well, that’s silly… My car automatically senses when the lights need to be on, so even if they weren’t…”
I have a Pontiac Vibe, and in case it ever happens to you, keep this in mind. The low beams were not working, but the high beams and fog lamps were. I checked and rotated the fuses, so I could tell it wasn’t that. After a few hours of poking around, I decided that it just might be the bulbs. Fortunately, the bulbs are the same as the Protege, and I had saved those when I put the brighter ones in last Spring. Turns out it was just a freak double burn-out.

Now I just need to get some new ones and get them installed since my hands are too big to fit in and change the driver side bulb.
